This program is for Young Entrepreneurs (5th – 12th Grade) that have a Business Plan, Invention, Idea, Program, etc. and need help taking their Vision & Dream to the Next Level. Incubator Space, Training, Resources and Wrap-Around Support will be available for all students. Each student will learn how to create and develop their own Business Plan during this 16-week training program. The classes will take place every Monday night at 7pm - 9pm all year round.

Young Moguls Club Pitch Competition - At this competition Young Entrepreneurs and Inventors have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to a panel of investors for a chance to win startup money and incubator space for their business. Students in the 5th - 12th grade can enter the competition from any city or state from across the country. The competition takes place twice a year. See our video here.

Money zones Banking & Financial Literacy Program

The program is taught in 4 sessions: 3 in-class lessons and a 4th session held at a Republic Bank Store where students can meet tellers, step inside a vault, experience the Magic Money Machine, and more! Upon completion of the program, each student will receive a certificate and a goodie bag.

Through fun activities and lesson plans that focus on teaching children the basic principles of money, saving, and banking, while giving teachers resources to link this learning to the wider National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) curriculum. The importance of saving, creating a budget, and understanding checking and ATM transactions are all reviewed.

90 Day fathers challenge:

male empowerment program

The 90 Day Father’s Challenge was started to promote fatherhood and the importance of building and leaving a legacy for our children. We advocate in support of fathers. We have programs for fathers and children. Some of our services include fathers’ rights support, our workshops and supports include: computer literacy child support, custody, financial literacy, economics, parenting classes, entrepreneurship, job training, professional development, and estate planning. We also host fatherhood events, re-entry programs, and support groups.

Urban Bookworms Program

This program is for the youth and young adults that have an interest in working in the fields STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). Coding, Green Energy, Sustainability, etc. are nurtured and developed at our Innovation Labs and then highlighted our STEM Shows & Competitions. We also have a specific focus on Academic Excellence. So we’ve created a City-Wide Spelling Bee for students 5th-8th grade and 9th-12th grade. Our goal is to get students from urban communities to compete nationally in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

“The cool bus” youth multi transit program

The Cool Bus Project is an incentive-based transportation system with the aspiration of providing students – ranging from 5th-8th grade – an alter native method of transportation to-and-from their respective schools. The incentives include the following eligible criteria:

1. Excellent Academic Performance

2. Excellent Behavior

3. Desire to deviate from the traditional yellow school buses

farmerpreneurs urban farming program

The Education Over Everything Foundation has partnered with Hornsby Farms, LLC to provide students (Farmerpreneur) with the opportunity, skills and resources to become Master Farmers. The Urban Farming Program uses 21st century technology through “Aeroponics” and Tower Gardens to achieve these goals. Aeroponics is a form of hydroponics, Aeroponics is the process of growing plants without soil, using only water and nutrients. Our Tower Garden Hydroponic systems suspend roots in a nutrient solution, Aeroponic towers periodically spray exposed roots with solution, providing fresh oxygen, water and nutrients precisely when plants need them. The result is better tasting and incredibly nutritious produce - all using dramatically 98% less water, 90% less space to grow more food and less time compared to traditional agricultural. By using a system that is uniquely adaptable to most any urban environment, aeroponic student farmers can grow within communities they live in, solving the problems of availability and quality. Nearly 24 million Americans live in “food deserts” - areas with limited access to fresh fruits and vegetables. Elsewhere, produce often travels up to 3,000 miles before it reaches a plate, compromising freshness, flavor and nutrition. Urban farms already produce 1/5 of the world’s food.

Behind The Scenes program prepares today’s youth for successful futures by exposing them to careers in the entertainment industry. It teaches the skills and work ethic necessary to succeed in the twentieth century workplace. By balancing creative arts instruction from talent to teaching artist with workshops in music business from industry professionals Behind the Scenes ensures that middle school and high school students who work with us graduate from school and put themselves in the best position to be tomorrows entertainment leaders.
